On day 1: Friday November 3rd, the Team World Championship unfolded, featuring 19 elite national teams in a thrilling knockout showdown, where they excelled in four TIMBERSPORTS® disciplines using a relay format.

Saturday - Individual World Championship

The following day, the world's top twelve individual athletes engaged in an exhilarating elimination contest across all six TIMBERSPORTS® disciplines. The 2023 German champion proudly represented the host nation, battling against global athletes in adrenaline-pumping competitions, all vying for the prestigious title of STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® World Champion 2023.

In honors this year

The TIMBERSPORTS® Series mourns the passing of Jason Wynyard, a true TIMBERSPORTS® Titan.

Our beloved and highly appreciated Pro athlete and friend, Jason Wynyard sadly passed away this year in October after his battle with cancer.

Jason is known as a STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® legend. He won over 100 titles in the sport and is a World Record holder. People like to call him the  "Michael Jordan’’ of TIMBERSPORTS® and owns the name of being MR. TIMBERSPORTS®. Many of the athletes grew up watching Jason Wynyard compete and always looked up to him. He is an idol, not only for other athletes but for the whole STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® community. Jason put lots of effort and passion into the sport, leading him to great success. He was not only a unique sportsman, but a family man, a gentleman and a very kind and humble person. He is missed in the TIMBERSPORTS® community and will never be forgotten.
